What a great holiday! We love celebrating our Freedom. For our 4th we went to a BBQ at Nate's Sisters house. We ate lots of food, enjoyed playing in the BLAZING hot weather, and of course Fireworks. We were dog sitting an English Bulldog over the weekend, she didn't do so well with the fireworks so we decided to head home when everyone went to the park to watch the large display of fireworks. Much to our surprise we ended up seeing 4-5 Firework shows just driving along I-15 on our way home. We for sure had the best seat in town! It was great.
On Saturday we went and had dinner with Grandma v, Jose and Jose Jr. up Spanish fork canyon where they had been camping for a few days. Nate was giving Jose Jr. some tips on building the fire, they had forgotten the Lighter fluid so they were"safely" using gasoline to start the fire. Need I say more? Lets just say the gasoline can ended up with a flame in it clothes and chairs caught on fire. GO Scouts Go!!.... Luckily no one was hurt and it turned in to a laughing matter. We also played Uno attack, enjoyed some bike riding and had a yummy dutch oven cooked dinner. It started getting dark, So we got a good fire going and of course roasted some delicious marshmallows and made smores.
