Trip to Florida

Taylor and I were blessed to go to Florida in May. We had to leave dad home. We missed him so much! My older sister Heidi lives there with her family( Husband Johnny, son Xavier and two little girls Samantha and Angelica). She graduated
from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University getting a bachelors in aerospace studies. She also just recently got a job at Kennedy Space Center.Yay!

While we were there we went to Downtown Disney. There where a lot of fun things to see. Everything was way too expensive so the only thing we ended up getting was a small Florida license plate magnet with Taylors name on it.

On our way to Cocoa Beach!!

It was a very windy day at the beach. So we took a few pictures, walked in the sand a bit which Taylor loved. Well, at least after she got used to the sand getting into her sandals all the time. Her first reactions where "uh oh!'' and "eww gross" but then didn't care when she realized how fun it was to play in!

We were able to go back to my sisters school because she needed to finish up a few things. So she gave me a tour of the campus. This is a life size model helicopter that they practice on . She was able to show me all sorts of funs things such as large propellers and engines that where part of a delta airplane at one time. I also got to see a lot of small planes. One of them was John Travolta's old private plan that he donated to the school.

Taylor was having the time of her life, finally having other kids around to play with all the time. She loved being around her cousins and was sad to say good bye. We were sad to leave but also happy to see daddy waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. We miss them already and hope to be able to go back and see them again sometime soon.
