Thankful Thursday!

I am thankful that I have so much family that is close by. It make the holidays and any occasion SO much fun! Being able to raise my children surrounded by family I think can make all the difference I hope that my girls can have amazing friendships with their cousins for many years to come! after all family is forever!!!!! I LOVE FAMILY!

one week and a day late!!

Okay so I have to admit I am not doing so well with these thankful thursdays. I also am slacking on posting events happening in my life and the holidays are coming so many more events will be coming.. ahhh so I need to catch up so bare with me as this might be a long post.....

Nate had made taylor some spaghetti o's for lunch and I am sitting right next to her feeding emma and for some reason had to go in the other room for a minute I come back and she looks like this....hahaha seriously she had to have been thinking about it before but didn't do it because I was sitting there. I was gone for no joke less then a minute! So funny~

SLEEP OVER 

Taylors cousin Sadie came over and stayed a few nights with us. This was Taylor's first time having anyone over for a real sleepover! They had so much fun laughing, fighting, sharing, pushing and the list goes on....

Ahhhhh Books!!!!

So Nate and I both have a passion for books.. having time to read though is another story anyway i really enjoy getting books for Taylor but they are all so expensive! So I had a hard time buying a lot of books when I knew the outcome would be torn pages, walked on, bent...... until one day our local library was having a book sale the first time I went I got there very late actually probably on the second day of the sale and I ran into Very few that where ever worth the 25 cents they were asking so I bought those few.. Well 6 months later they had another one it started friday morning at 9 am. I was determined to get some good books this time So I show up at 8am I told you I was determined! The people were setting up and they were nice and let me browse any way i walked away that day with over 100 childrens books for like 30 bucks! I was so excited. Now I don't have to worry if they get stepped on, torn, ...... because most of them only cost 25 cents!!! Well They had another one that started this morning oh and yes I  was there at 8 am !!! LOVE IT!!

And right now I am thankful for all the lord has blessed me with here on this earth and that we have SO many temples nearby. I was able to go to a sealing yesterday and it was so amazing I love all the promises the lord gives to us if we in return keep our own. I am so grateful to be sealed to my wonderful husband to time and all eternity and know that this dreadful world is not the end.

COOKIE FUN!

Taylor and I made cookies the other day. It was so much fun! She loves helping me cook. I let her pour in all the dry ingredients, and most of the stirring. If I even tried to do anything she would get all upset and so it was a very slow cookie making process but she had a blast got really dirty and we ate a lot of cookie dough which is the best of any cookie making process.

Nate's Thankful Thursday

I have taken over the blog this Thursday to say what I am thankful for. Ashley cant have all the fun. I probably wont do this again, so I will say more than just one thing. I am thankful for Ashley and our girls, our love sac, steak and eggs, golf, books, talk radio, freedom, The Priesthood, APX, college football, My Dad, education, string cheese, GOLF, the Internet, all of our family, friends, and many more things. There are so many things to be grateful for, it is hard to name just a few, but more than anything I am grateful for my family who love me no matter what. This was fun. Ashley will be back next week.

Best $40 spent!!

We got a storage unit!! I feel like I have been living in a storage unit for years!! I hate clutter!! Now I have to get organized cause when I was getting everything out that I wanted to go it practically looked like we were moving. Thank you to my Sweet husband for letting me get one so I can be sane when I am at home!

Thursday Again?

I can' t believe a week has gone by already! I need to post more blogs so that everything isn't a Thankful Thursday!

As you know from my last post we got a kitchen for Taylor. She has been playing with it daily and is learning new things with her Imagination, don't get me wrong she has used her imagination in plenty of experiances before the kitchen ever came along. It has just opened so many doors for her imagination. not just hers either mine as well! As you get older you forget to use it and forget how much fun it really is (at least I think!) We sit down at her little table and have a fake tea party and she makes me chicken and then we get her friends monkey and tiger to sit up to the table and she serves them. She gets so excited!! So this week I am thankful for the Imagination and what joy it can bring to any person young or old. Thank you Taylor for helping me remember how short life really is and that your imagination has No limit so LIVE IT UP!! I LOVE YOU!
