First few weeks

So since we have been home things have been great! At first Emma obviously had some jealousy issues and still does but she is doing SO much better. She loves Isaac so much and always wants to help. She loves holding and feeding him and if he cries she puts the pacifier in his mouth. When he starts crying she drops whatever she is doing,runs over points at him and says LOOK! She thinks it is hilarious when he sneezes and makes funny noises.
Taylor has handled the change a little differently. She has just turned up her sass about 12 notches and does things that she knows she is not suppose to right in front of me just to get a rise. But overall she has been a great help. Wants to hold and feed him all the time. Gives him the pacifier when he is sad. He was laying on the couch one morning and the girls were watching cartoons. I come in and Taylor is laying next to him and she is just talking to him. Telling him about the show and asking him how he is doing.... It was really cute. She really loves having him around.

He had his 2 week appointment and is up to 9 1/2 pounds and doing great!

He is such a good baby! Usually only cries when he is hungry, or needs a diaper change. He is up at night like clock work every 3 hours and wants to eat. I am super tired but am getting used to it:)


My mom came over in the mornings and stayed with me until 5 pm the first few days I was home. She was very helpful. She made me dinner, cleaned my house, and spoiled my children. I am so grateful that she was able to come!

Isaac is such a great addition to the family. We love him so much and his sweet spirit. It feels like he is getting big already. I wish the "baby" stage lasted longer:(
