So I normally wouldn't post all these great events in one post but they all happened at the same time so..... here we go:)
VEGAS
We went as a family to Vegas for a week. It is the longest vacation we have EVER had and we never have taken the kids anywhere with us. So it was a lot of fun to spend that much time together without all the hustle and bustle of life. We were able to go to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay. Taylor loved it. Emma was a little unsure.
For a little early birthday present we took Taylor to Circus Circus. We got her an unlimited pass and spent the day watching her ride 5 rides over and over. She had SO much fun and never wanted to leave.
We walked the strip one night and went to the Coke and M&M stores. The girls loved the M&M factory. We spent a lot of days swimming and hanging out in the hotel. The hotel room had a kitchen so we went grocery shopping so we didn't have to eat out the whole time. We did enjoy a few buffets and yummy places to eat though.
THANKSGIVING & TAYLOR'S BIRTHDAY
Because it was Taylor's birthday we let her decide what we were going to do. The girls slept in and then I made breakfast. She wanted to go swimming, so we spent the day by the pool(Emma didn't really like it the first time so I sat out with her). Then, we ate lunch and she wanted to watch Dora (Big Surprise).Once Emma woke up from her nap we decided a buffet would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner. haha The line was ridiculous just to get in and then you had to wait in line to get turkey and ham. It was a joke. Taylor picked at a roll and then went for dessert. Anything with frosting she just wants to lick. No fork just dig in. I went to get some food and came back to find Taylor had fallen asleep on the bench. Emma pretty much put a whole roll in her mouth at once and was happy. When we finally tried to leave we tried to wake Taylor up and she just started screaming (She is not the easiest person to wake up). So everyone was staring at us until we left. It was great. We planned a little surprise party for Taylor after dinner; but now she was uncontrollably crying and didn't want to do anything. So, I had Nate take her "for a walk" to take the trash out. She didn't want to go but that was the only way I could set up. She walked in and her mood went from sad and grumpy to excited and happy. She was so surprised and it was so much fun. We got her a little cake and let her open her presents from us. So the night ended with a bath after cake and ice cream.
The road trip was fun. I had to stop and pee many more times than Taylor did. I think she just didn't like the bathrooms so she held it in. They of course slept and wanted to get out of there seats the whole time. Over all it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be.
Okay so Taylor made this one day while going to the bathroom. haha Nate made one with her a while back just once. Then she just makes this all by her self. She is such quick learner. I was impressed.
This was her party with the family when we got home! Thanks everyone for coming and for all the gifts:)
